Site remediation involves the clean-up or removal of material to restore a property that has been contaminated by hazardous substances or pollutants to an un-impacted state. Site remediation typically follows a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) where contamination was identified at the property and the areal extents and depths of the contamination are understood.
S2S Environmental has extensive expertise and experience in environmental remediation, both in soil and groundwater. We provide a full range of services from excavation and off-site disposal of contaminated material to in-situ treatment of contamination as well as the preparation of risk assessments, either for due-diligence purposes or for submission as part of a Record of Site Condition filing.
We have experience in managing the excavation and removal of contaminated soil, treatment of water, and in-situ treatment methods including chemical oxidation, bioremediation, vapour extraction, pump and treat, etc.
We have been involved in the successful remediation of properties with contaminants including petroleum hydrocarbons (former gasoline stations, underground fuel storage tanks), dry cleaning solvents, heavy metals, etc. Every problem is unique, and S2S Environmental will work with you to develop a remediation plan specific to your property.
